Cho-Look After You

Tsung Cho has been rather lonely since his wife's untimely death last year, and maybe not in the way you are thinking! Tsung really just wants a friend, he doesn't necessarily want another love. He believe that Ming was probably the only woman who would truly have his heart. He has befriended the 18 year old, troubled gardener Erica. He has tea with her after she finishes her work everyday. Tsung discovers that Erica has been on her own since she was 14, and she currently is couch-hopping between friend's houses. Tsung doesn't believe that this is appropriate for a young woman.

While Tsung befriends the help, the other family members have other ways of coping with their grief. Kai has been working on getting her body in shape, and she is almost always working out. Yu works on his chess game, thirteen year old Andrew works on his academics and his soccer skills, and Allison copes by torturing other children.

Tsung can't stand the idea of Ericka bouncing from house to house, so he offers to share his room with her. He already sold his double bed and got 2 twins instead. He promises he doesn't snore too loudly or talk in his sleep, and she can always have first dibs on the bathroom that connects to their room. He really feels as though Ericka is another child of his and he wants her to live in a safe appropriate environment.

Tsung probably should've spent a little more time getting to know Ericka before asking her to move in, or at least he should have set some ground rules. Ericka loves to bring in many lovers when the kids are at school, and she walks around in her underwear at all hours of the night! Tsung may be in for more trouble than he asked for!

note- From now on, a lot, if not all, the titles of the posts will be songs. They might be random, they might fit what happens in the story, it will be whatever I feel like at the time. I'm actually playing through round 10 right now, so I'm obviously a little behind. I'm gonna try to put at least 2 updates up a week, but I'm starting school in mid-august so I'll be pretty busy. Well, I'm gonna try anyway! Happy Simming!

Cho- Growing up in sadness

**I grew Allison up a little sooner than I should have...ignore it lol**

Andy has just celebrated his 6th birthday! He's as happy as can be even though his parents are starting him in school just a little late. Kai and her friends often joke about how they can already tell how he'll be absolutely handsome and he looks just like his father. Andy is very much into sports, especially soccer.

Allison grew up some too. She's 4 going on 5 this round and is extremely stubborn! Kai already sees a difficult teenager in her, even though she's so young. When Yu sees the obvious defiance in Alli, he just laughs and says 'like mother like daughter!', and then he jokes about how she says no just because she likes to say it.

Not everything around the house is something to celebrate. The cold that Ming Cho caught from Kai turned into something else entirely, and ended up taking her life much sooner than anyone would've expected otherwise. The family knew it was time the day before they found her very peacefully dead in her sleep. It was like the shadow of death had been following her all day, laughing when she coughed and mocking her when she tried to take her prescribed medicine in hopes of getting better.
Obituary:
Rest in Peace Ming Cho.
Ming leaves behind a husband, Tsung Cho, once child and daughter in law, Yu and Kai Cho, and two grandchildren, Andrew Tsu and Allison Theresa Cho. Ming's specialty was sewing and she sewed quickly and well. Many people remember that she was always helping out at the clothing store owned by the family and would often give free tailoring jobs. Ming Cho was a high standing member of Purity Creek society and the newly built graveyard will be named after her family.

The family is absolutely devastated by this loss. They eat in silence at the table. Alli had a bit of a growth spurt and looks somewhat older than she is(**my bad**), but her 5th birthday is coming up soon and her bigger body is a reminder. Everyone is trying to pull themselves together so that Alli can grow up surrounded by happiness, instead of all the grief and sadness.

A few weeks before her actual birthday, Grandpa Tsung takes Alli and older brother Andy out to the park. They skate around and pretend to have fun, but both children are just so sad. Tsung knows it won't last forever, but he hates seeing the kids so upset. It takes everything he has not to break down into tears, because he misses his sweet Ming as well...

Cho- The flu?

Yu has been handling baby Andrew very nicely. He's been dealing with the little tyke on his own quite often lately, Kai came down with some sort of flu about 1 year after Andy was born. She's been bed-ridden for what seems like weeks now. It's a good thing she just helps out at the store of she'd be out of a job!

For a few months, Kai made improvements. Actually, she was much better. Yu was glad for that, Andrew was kind of an ornery child, and not one that only a single parent can handle! (Yu doesn't mention the fact that both his parents were helping...)
Kai did seem to be getting sick again, but this time it was mainly nausea that got her down. A stomach bug maybe?

After a few doctors visits in the summer, Kai and Yu discovered they were expecting! This was very exciting for Kai, and although Yu was happy, he wasn't looking forward to another stubborn child like Andrew. Yu put those kinds of thoughts in the back of his mind though, and let his happiness for the new baby take over. He did love kids after all.

Andrew just turned 2! His grandparents help out waaaaaaaaaaaaay more than before now. Kai is always so tired but thats to be expected when you are 8 months pregnant, Yu seems to be catering to her every need. Maybe he thinks if he's more attentive to Kai during her pregnancy, the baby will be a lovely child. Anyway, the grandparents are very excited about the new baby. However, the older Mrs. Cho has caught an illness, presumably a cold. She seems to be dealing with her sickness rather nicely though, much more than can be said for Kai when she was sick.

Kai has given birth to Allison Cho a little ahead of schedule. She is somewhat ornery, but not as bad as Andrew. She's got everyone wrapped around her finger, apparently even Andy. He often stumbles into her room to 'play with her toys' but everyone know he's watching over his sleeping sister. All in all, a very exciting season for the Cho's.
